This project consisted of building a concrete weir with a “V” plate that measures the amount of water coming through a stream. The Division of Parks and Wildlife Engineer noticed the Tarryall Dam began leaking and it became necessary to measure the amount of water that is leaking through. CMS was hired to dewater the stream, excavate the area where the new weir was to be installed, form and place reinforcement with concrete and backfill, install new rip-rap for erosion control and perform final cleanup.
The project was completed in budget and on schedule. This was our second project with the Division of Parks and Wildlife.
